Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic care began in 1997 forming from the 75 year old Orthotic and Prosthetic Department of Kosair Children's Hospital. A group of individuals had a desire to help out Kosair and in doing so started a new division.
Today COPC manages not only Kosair Children's O & P Department, but has expanded to include patient care and management services for Duke University Medical Center, Norton Healthcare, and Shriners Children's Hospital of Lexington. COPC is the only Orthotic and Prosthetic Company in the U.S. specializing in assisting hospitals manage their O & P Departments. For more than three-quarters of a century, Kentucky Farm Bureau has served as the Voice of Kentucky in agriculture, representing the interests of agricultural producers and rural communities. Through the years, the cost of joining Kentucky Farm Bureau has been kept at a modest level. Today, the annual membership dues range from $20 to $30 among the 120 county Farm Bureaus across the state.
